Priyanka Chopra: 300 star Gerard Butler dates the former Miss World

Record - Actor Gerard Butler is rumoured to be dating a former Miss World he wooed with text messages. The star of 300 is said to have fallen for Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra when they met at a glitzy hotel opening in Dubai. At a lavish party afterwards, Butler apparently flooded her with compliments and even asked her to do a film with him. A friend of the 26-year-old actress said: "Priyanka and Gerard hit it off really well in Dubai and have maintained their friendship ever since. "They have kept in touch via phone calls and text messages." Gerard, 39, from Paisley, is in Philadelphia, where he is producing and starring in Law Abiding Citizen, with Jamie Foxx. But he and Priyanka have met for lunch and coffee in Chicago, where she is shooting Hindi film What's Your Raashee?
